News from this little corner
For me, 33 degrees is normal and 8 degrees is just plain cold. That was what the temp was in Auckland during my prized weekend. I went about the days chilled but nonetheless alright. Despite the hailstorms, it was a busy weekend the Phones were ringing and I was booked! I took a photo of the little bits of ice, they appear tiny on the wet pavement, it would have been a better photo if the pavement was still dry. I never seen hail before so excuse my fascination.
As I have heard, it will be 2 degrees this evening (I can't say I am excited about it), fortunately, the gas bottle is refilled and the gas heater is now set on full. From previous experience, this 9kg bottle will last a short 2 weeks, and then I will have to go to BP, where I have a discount card for LPG refills. For those who don't know about it, well, it's high time you know. Which reminds me, petrol prices have increased again, this time by NZD6 cents. Where does all the money for petrol go? Emails informed me that *they* make ice in the desert now. I don't feel the crunch yet because I don't really drive to work as it doesn't make sense when work is only a block away from home. But my mates at work have all the news and yes, they often feel like they should have filled up the car yesterday.
As in the previous entries, the love life has been extremely rough but it is getting better. Further on I should be back on track soon.
